Ocean preservation in Portugal: a sea of opportunities?

The ocean accounts for 70% of the planet's total surface and its protection is vital for both people and planet. Portugal has the third largest exclusive economic zone in the European Union, meaning its jurisdiction over both living and non-living marine resources plays a key role in the biodiversity roadmap of the country. We invite leading expert guests to discuss Portugal’s contribution to Europe’s low-carbon transition, through the lens of ocean preservation and key coastal projects including the development of a landmark green hydrogen hub at the Port of Sines.
