MiFID II came into effect from 3 January 2018. We kindly ask you to ensure that your attendance complies with MiFID II to the extent applicable to your firm. 

Research unbundling

As a result of MiFID II requirements relating to unbundling of research, BNP Paribas is required to identify separate charges for the cost of execution, the provision of research, corporate access and other services.

In the case you are required to pay, we will send an invoice to the details provided after the event, which will be payable within 30 days. Please note that prices included below are excluding VAT.

When you register for the conference, please select one of the following options in both the Content & Corporate Access sections that best represents your attendance at this conference (your registration is per individual, not per firm):

Content (panel tracks)
Option 1: No cost - I will not be attending the panel tracks
Option 2: No cost - My firm is Out of Scope of MiFID II unbundling rules
Option 3: No cost - My firm is UK based and Exempt (FCA regulation)
Option 4: No cost - My firm is In Scope of MiFID II but currently has a Research Agreement in place with BNP Paribas
Option 5: £250/€275 per person - My firm is In Scope of MiFID II and does not have a Research Agreement in place with BNP Paribas

Corporate Access (1:1/ Small Group Meetings)
Option 1: No cost - I will not be attending 1:1/small group meetings
Option 2: No cost - My firm is Out of Scope of MiFID II unbundling rules
Option 3: No cost - My firm is In Scope of MiFID II but considers these 1:1/small group meetings to be a minor non-monetary benefit in relation to MiFID II inducement rules
Option 4: £150/€165 per person - My firm is InScope of MiFID II and will use BNP Paribas pricing for these 1:1/small group meetings
Option 5: Other fee - My firm is In Scope of MiFID II and will use their own pricing

Note: Corporate Access pricing or bundle packages agreed with BNP Paribas do not include attendance to the panel tracks. BNP Paribas Research packages do not give access to 1:1 small group meetings.

Inducements regime

Please note that MiFID II also imposes rules on firms in relation to their ability to accept inducements, including rules regarding receipt of minor non-monetary benefits. Even if your firm has made a payment for attending the relevant part(s) of this conference, your firm will still need to consider its obligations under the inducements regime.

By attending any part of this conference, you are acknowledging that your firm has considered its own regulatory obligations in relation to inducements (outside of research unbundling rules) and your attendance confirms that your firm deems this conference to be a minor non-monetary benefit for the purposes of MiFID II.
